Hey Guys , I’ve been searching all weekend for Mads but i seem to keep missing him by a few minutes. and Since our PM system is still somewhat broken i’m just posting (Sorry ).
At first i thought i was going to go for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130591 (the Factory 460). But then i found This pretty little card , which beats the living shit out of all the 460’s i compare it to. Its a Radeon Card and i know most guys don’t really trust them But for the price and power i think it may be worth it. Heres the link : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161371#SnetMark_18
So basicly just asking which one should i go for… I’m not ready to buy a new motherboard or processor so i’ll just have to live with my current one. But please throw out some suggestions

I might be of some assistance i have worked as tech support and system engineer for years so i have seen most generations of PC’s and videocards etc.. ATI & NVIDA both supply videocard that will always have a up and a downside, some are faster some have better picture render quality. If you would like to compare the hardware itself then look at this at gpureview here you see the ATI 6970 has at least 30% more memory bandwidth then the Nvidia 460. The same goes for the Pixel Fill Rate & Texture Fill Rates, the ATI is simply faster in the stats. ATI was always the cheaper choice but delivers dam nice cards and a good bang for the buck. If you can get the ATI for the same price or cheaper than the NV card it’s the better card to get otherwise you will have to compare the ATI to the NV 470 series which is more expensive for a more suitable comparison.May 2, 2011 at 8:22 pm #2969

well. I’m still kind of in a pickle. I’m a Savy with Software and pretty much know 0 about hardware. So Basicly Asking for a list 1 being best 3 being worst
What would you rate all my Finds as ? I’m O.K with spending 200 bucks , but i would really rother avoid it. All i want to do is run ARMA 2 on max settings and run it well. If the 470 investment really gets me more for the 50 more bucks please say so.
So… Radeon 6790 , NV 560 , or NV 570
Thanks GuysMay 4, 2011 at 8:18 am #2970May 4, 2011 at 2:29 pm #2971

Well i luckily i didn’t pay a penny for this card. My Dad has a box of 25 of them at work… Reason being you need to run freaking pies to your computer. He said he saw a few 480’s on the shelf so HOPFULLY they are the fan verison. becuase i have a liquid nitrogien cooler but its only for the RAM cooling , i’m not about to run pipes to my computer or buy a resoivouir.
So praying for the 480… or better
